The invitation-only roundtable — which is supported by Aldermore and ZSL Capital — will be held on Wednesday 12th February at Watson Farley & Williams’ offices at 15 Appold Street, London.
The agenda will feature a discussion on what could cause overruns on a development project, this year specifically, and how all parties in a transaction chain can help mitigate this.
John Carter, commercial director — commercial real estate at Aldermore; and Daryl Thorpe, co-founder and principal at ZSL Capital; will be joined by Ranjeev Kumar, partner at Watson Farley & Williams.
Also in attendance will be Rochelle Yea, director at Next Route Finance Limited; Jay Bhudia, director at JB Cost Associates; Deme Paliouras, director at Arco Developments; and Martin Crews, development director at CityBlock.

The roundtable will be chaired by Development Finance Today’s editor Beth Fisher.
The attendees will also discuss how developers can assure brokers and lenders that their business plans and timeframes are realistic from the outset and throughout, the impact of labour shortages and changing material costs in the UK, and how lenders can be more collaborative to help make developers’ projects more profitable.
The 45-minute session will be filmed and uploaded as a 10-minute highlights reel on Development Finance Today in March on our Roundtables page.
Development Finance Today will be continuing the 2020 series in April, May, September and October.
